It’s all about time and energy.
No less than three people have emailed me the story about John Cusack’s stalker this morning.
I’m starting to get the idea that my dear friends think there is some sort of correlation between me and this psycho stalker lady. Let’s just get this out there: I have neither the time nor energy to stalk Mr. Cusack.
You know, aside from all the other reasons I wouldn’t do that. Yeah.

Come on, you couldn’t find the time? Not even for John Cusack?

When my friend Brooke still lived in Chicago she spent quite a bit of time trying to run into him.
I look forward to picking up where she left off when I get back there this Christmas.
Apparently, if you hang out on the Gold Coast, it’s not all that difficult.
He’s hawt.

Oh, John Cusack…
I maintain that he was never as cute as he was in Grosse Pointe Blank. There’s something about a hitman dressed in black that is totally hot!

Time is simply something I am sorely lacking these days. Even for my dearest John. It’s kind of sad really.
If I lived in Chicago, I might um, you know, show up in a few likely spots hoping to bump into him. Luckily for him, I don’t think I’ll be moving to Chicago anytime soon… though I may have to come visit you when you do Jaclyn… hmm. Bad thoughts are crowding me…
And Reese - I sort of agree. GPB is second only to Say Anything in the John Cusack oeuvre, and in terms of pure eye candy, yeah, that’s where he was at the top of the game. But… well, there will be a special place in my heart for him forever. I have just had a flame burning for far too long for it to ever go out… though I will admit that it flickered a bit a while back when there was a tabloid rumor of him with Britney Spears. That was almost too much to take.
